- Pray in the Spirit first thing every morning for provision in those areas
Today’s Task Reading:
Now that you know that we shouldn’t wait for the perfect time tackle our debt, we should focus on seeking God first for provision.
Even the busiest people make time to add ministry to their schedule. They trust God to make a way and God guides and protects as they take the steps to do God’s will. They believe God knows what’s best and helps them manage all that He has given to them.
If we fail to manage what God has given, God will take it from us. We must use the talents that God has given us to keep it from being taken away (Matthew 25:14-30). When we tithe we are putting God first and focusing on building up the things that value God the most. Also, when we pray and read the Bible we are honoring God (Proverbs 3:9).
God will help us get out of debt, but we must do our part by not spending more than we have! If we don’t want to live with failures and live in chaos, we must seek the Lord and avoid relying solely on our abilities but rely solely on God’s (Jeremiah 10:21). When we seek God first, God will lead us in the direction that is best for us. Seeking God includes, praying, obeying, reading, listening and hearing His word, praise reports, and testimonies day and night (1 King 2:3).
Today’s Prayer: God, our Father. You reign over the heavens and earth. You are great and powerful. We need You and Your Holy Spirit this day. Thank You for never leaving us or forsaking us. Help us to seek You first every single day. So You can be the head of our lives. So You can help us manage all we have to do. We want our talents and abilities to develop and grow. Help us to tithes and build up the things and people who value Your kingdom. Help us to pray and read the Bible to honor You. You deserve all the glory, honor and praise forever. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Matthew 25:14-30 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Parable of the Talents
14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
24 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’
26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Proverbs 3:9 New King James Version (NKJV)
9 Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
Jeremiah 10:21 New King James Version (NKJV)
21 For the shepherds have become dull-hearted,
And have not sought the Lord;
Therefore they shall not prosper,
And all their flocks shall be scattered.
1 Kings 2:3 New King James Version (NKJV)
3 And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;James 2:14-17 New King James Version (NKJV)
Faith Without Works Is Dead
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
Zechariah 4:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 So he answered and said to me:
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts.
