Week 4: Knowing the Scriptures

Today’s Easy Task: Use all free time to eliminate debt and eat the 3rd, 6th and 9th hour of daylight after prayer

How to complete this task:

  • Complete today’s task reading
  • Pray today’s prayer
  • Read today’s scriptures
  • Find ways to increase income
  • Count the 3rd hour after sunrise to determine first meal
  • Count the 9th hour after sunrise to determine last meal

Today’s Task Reading

There is a time and season for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1) and when we are in debt, we shouldn’t give ourselves free time until our debt is eliminated.  We might have to work double, and find ways to get paid more.  However, we must be sure to get your sleep in.  The ideal schedule is work when the sunrise and stop working when the sunsets. 

Since it takes the body approximately 5 hours to digest food, give ourselves more than 5 hours to eat in between meals to make sure our food is fully digested.  The body does most of the repairing and cleansing at night, but it can’t cleanse and repair if the body’s energy is focused on digesting food.  So let us avoid eating late and allow ourselves to reach stage 4 level of sleep quicker and stay in it much longer.  If we need help winding down before sleep, we should consider PraiseMoves: Christian Alternative to Yoga, a massage, reading scripture and prayer. 

Another tip would be before eating another meal, make sure you eliminated the last meal, because if you don’t the new food will be sitting on top of the older food, which causes fermentation in the digestive system.  That creates gas and toxins and unpleasant odors and ailments.

I recommend that we eat the 3rd, 6th, and 9th hour of daylight after special prayer (Daniel 6:10).  Before each meal, I recommend that we read a proverb and sing a psalm to God as an act of worship.  During those hours our body can better digest the food.  If we are hungry outside of those hours, we should drink green juices, green smoothies, vegetable soup, etc. for our meal.  On the Sabbath day consume less food, because this is a time when most of the healing takes place.  It’s the ideal time to fast and pray.

Today’s Prayer:  God, my Abba Father.  Hollowed be Thy Name!  You have bless our time and season to get out of debt and eat on the 3rd, 6th and 9th hour after special prayer.  Help us to find the best ways to increase our income and to worship you before every meal.  You are the God who gives us provision and we are forever grateful for You.  Please forgive us for our lack of self control.  Help us to forgive others.  Protect us from all dangers seen and unseen.  Cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Thank you for Your grace and mercy.  In Jesus Name, Amen.
