Week 3: Building Faith

Today’s Easy Task:  Check-in with God

How to complete this task:

  • Complete today’s task reading
  • Pray today’s prayer
  • Read today’s scriptures
  • Ask God if you are following His plan for your life
  • Ask God to help you follow His plan to reach your health and wealth goals

Today’s Task Reading:

Yesterday, we realized that every thought that goes through our head isn’t automatically true and we should compare them to scriptures.  Today, we are focusing on the fact that God has created us for a great purpose.  Those purposes are unique and special.  They are bigger that anything we could ever image (1 Corinthians 2:9). The details of our one-of-a-kind plan are so intricate that we must check in with God often to see if we are fulfilling the plan correctly, if we forgot something or doing something the wrong way (Hebrews 13:21).

Are you following God’s purpose for your life using His plans?

You have to know the scriptures to know His plans for you.  That is the way you will follow His plan for your life.  If the Lord isn’t the one planning then whatever you build will be worthless (Psalm 127:1).  It’s important that the Lord is leading you.  It is important that you are committing your ways to the Lord and allowing God to lead you (Psalm 37:5).

God has given you the ability to follow your own will.  That means that you can choose to follow or not follow His instructions.  There are ways that seem right to you, but in reality it leads to destruction (Proverbs 16:25).  However, as you study and meditate on God’s word, you receive insight and direction on the best choices and decision you need to need to make.  So don’t neglect the Word, but keep it for the Word of God is life (Proverbs 4:13). That’s why constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit is very important.  He reveals secrets to you and helps you discover how to implement God’s plan for you (Jeremiah 7:23).

Also, don’t just listen to the word, but it’s important to do what it says (James 1:22).  That’s the way you will produce the fruit.

Today’s Prayer:  God, Jehovah Rohi – You are our shepherd. You care for us. You meet our every need with abundance. You give us rest, because You are with us. We don’t have to worry, but we can rest know you will help us do what it takes to fulfill our purpose in life. That’s why You are great and mighty. Compared to You, we are meek and ordinary. Yet You deeply care for us. Thank You! Let Your will be done, in our lives and country, as it is in heaven. Give us today wisdom, knowledge and strength we need to receive our daily bread. Forgive us for considering our own will before Yours. Help us to put You first in all areas in our lives. Help us to forgive those who crossed our boundaries. Lead us away from all things that temp us and deliver us from evil. Thank You for always being with Us. You are the Alpha and Omega. You are the beginning and the end. We love You! For You are our eternal source of peace and provision. In Jesus name, Amen.
