Today’s Task Reading
You’ve made it to Day 13. Great Job!
As we focus on Using the Bible for Guidance to achieve our health and wealth goals. We will focus on practicing the Presence of God by walking in the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:25). The Holy Spirit helps us have the power and strength to reach our health and wealth goals in our lifetime (Acts 1:8).
The great news is the Holy Spirit is accessible to every believer who is born of water and spirit (John 3:5-6). Yet, in order for us to experience the true power of the Holy Spirit, we must abide in Him and seek Him constantly (1 John 2:27). In other words, we must spend time in the Presence of God so we can learn how to yield to the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit power falls on individuals who are totally surrendered consistently (Galatians 5:18). God wants us to get in the habit of constantly seeking and communicating with Him for our effort will never be in vain (James 5:16). So God may require a certain amount of time of seeking Him, praying, confessing before He brings us results. That’s why it is important that we don’t quit when we don’t get immediate results. We can’t go by feelings or man-driven approval. We should go daily devotions and God-approval. Persistency will always lead us to positive results. We may have to pray all night, like Jesus, to get our response from God (Luke 6:12). However, when that glorious day comes, God will say “seek me no more, because I am here!”
If you want an example, of a person yielding to the Holy Spirit everyday read “The Practice of the Presence of God” by Brother Lawrence.
Today’s Prayer: God, Your Holy Spirit is awesome. The Holy Spirit inspired the writing of the Bible. The Holy Spirit comforts, reminds us that we are not perfect, guides us to the truth, dwells in believers hearts. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us, leads us to the truth, produces life, teaches and gives us the gifts of the Spirit. Let your Holy Spirit dwell throughout the hearts of all people in the earth. Let your glory shine here on earth as it shines in heaven. We need help obeying Your Word. Help us to seek you every day, persistently so we can yield completely to the Holy Spirit. Please forgive us for seeking emotional feelings and approval from people. Instead of seeking approval from You. Lead us away from dangers we see and don’t see. So we can overcome all evil. Let your anointing reign in our lives forever. In Jesus Name, Amen.
