Week 12: De-stressing

Today’s Task Reading:
This week we are learning different ways we can de-stress when life get chaotic.
PraiseMoves is a great way for us to de-stress, because we are working out while we meditate and speak scriptures. Meditating and speaking the Word of God while stretching and strengthening our bodies is the main goal of PraiseMoves. It helps us to perform deep control breathing and improves our flexibility. It decreases the stiffness in our bodies, lowers our blood pressure and stress levels. It tones and strengthens our muscles, improves our respiration and boosts our energy.
Since stress restricts blood flow, it can leads to knots in our muscles. So as we stretch in PraiseMoves, we are increasing our blood flow which elevates our mood. It relaxes the muscles, which helps with pain, because tight muscles are more likely to be painful and prone to injuries. Loosening muscles improves the quality of life. Deep breathing soothes the body and release stress.

The Word of God spoken gives life (John 6:63). The Word of God accomplishes it purpose (Isaiah 55:11). The Word of God breaks oppositions (Jeremiah 23:28-29). That is why PraiseMoves is such a powerful workout, because we are speaking the Word of God as we work out our bodies.
Today’s Prayer: God, You reign forever and ever in the heavens and on earth. We are so thankful for You. You deserve all the glory, honor and praise. Let Your kingdom come and will be done in our lives. When we get stressed, help us relieve our stress with PraiseMoves Workout. We want to use all the tools that You have provided for us to de-stress. Thank you for giving us to the tools to de-stress in online, in-person, DVD and live streaming format. Give us knowledge, wisdom and understanding we need to de-stress effectively when needed. Help us to take the necessary steps to de-stress. We ask You to forgive us for all our debts, trespasses, and sins as we forgive our debtors and those who have trespassed and sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation. Everyday help us to be equipped with the full armor of God as You deliver us from evil. For Yours is the Kingdom, Power and Glory. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
