Week 11: Cleansing Your Temple

Today’s Easy Task: Start rebounding for 5 minutes everyday

Today’s Task Reading:

This week we are focusing on cleansing and today we will focus on cleansing our body with a rebounder

A rebounder allows us to do a rebounding exercise.  When we are rebounding, we are helping our bodies drain lymph fluid.  That means, every time we jump we are helping our body to push toxins out of our cells.  I love how the rebounder is easy on the joints.  It decreases the shock and stress on the joints and muscles by 95%.  20 minutes of jogging on the rebounder is equivalent to running for 1 hour.  It is easy on the joints and less strenuous on the heart.

The lymphatic system strongly supports the immune, digestive, nervous system in the body.  It’s very important in preventive health care.  The lymphatic system is a web of very thin vessel beneath the skin.  It’s a circulatory system that works with our blood circulating system and immune system.  The lymphatic system fights infections, virus, injury and cancer. The lymphatic system plays a major role in building and healing our bodies. 

There are many other benefits to rebounding.  For example, the action of jumping releases endorphins, adrenaline, serotonin, and dopamine.  Endorphins decrease our sensitivity to pain and it is known to be three times more powerful than morphine. Adrenaline stimulates our body to being more alert and gives us a natural high. Serotonin makes our brain more alert, stable which helps us to have deeper sleep at night. Dopamine clears our mind and helps us to learn and memorize information better.  Song of Solomon 2:8 is a great illustration of how jumping elevates the mood.

Today easy task is to get a rebounder and start rebounding for 5 minutes then work your way up to 30+ minutes.

Today’s Prayer:  God, You reign forever and ever in the heavens and on earth.  We are so thankful for You.  You deserve all the glory, honor and praise. Let Your kingdom come and will be done in our lives.  Help us start rebounding for 5 minutes.  We want to help our body push toxins out of our cell.  We want to fight infections, virus, injuries and cancer.  We want to help our body heal effectively.  Give us knowledge, wisdom and understanding we need to cleanse our body. We ask You to forgive us for all our debts, trespasses, and sins as we forgive our debtors and those who have trespassed and sinned against us.  Lead us not into temptation.  Everyday help us to be equipped with the full armor of God as You deliver us from evil.  For Yours is the Kingdom, Power and Glory.  In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
