Today’s Easy Task: Start eating clean foods

Today’s Task Reading:

This week we are focusing on following God’s Eating Plan.  Yesterday, we focused on avoiding unclean food.  Today we are focusing on eating clean food. 

Like we did yesterday, today we need to learn what foods are considered clean.  I am recommending that we now read chapter 12 of Paul Nison book “Health According to The Scriptures.”  That chapter of the book goes into detail on why we should eat the following clean foods:

  • Fruit and vegetables (Genesis 1:12,29)
  • Nuts and Seeds
  • Sea vegetables
  • Whole grains and legumes
  • Milk, cheese, eggs, honey (Exodus 13:15)
  • Clean meat – fish, bird, clean creepy animals (Leviticus 11:2-3,9,22, Deuteronomy 14:11)

Today’s Prayer:  God, You reign forever and ever in the heavens and on earth.  We are so thankful for You.  You deserve all the glory, honor and praise. Let Your kingdom come and will be done in our lives.  Help us start eating more fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sea vegetables, whole grains, legumes, milk, cheese, eggs, honey, and clean meat.  Forgive us for not eating them.  Since a lot of the food have been tainted, give us wisdom we select the best quality food that You have allowed for us to eat.  We ask You to forgive us for all our debts, trespasses, and sins as we forgive our debtors and those who have trespassed and sinned against us.  Lead us not into temptation.  Everyday help us to be equipped with the full armor of God as You deliver us from evil.  For Yours is the Kingdom, Power and Glory.  In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.

Exodus 13:15 New King James Version (NKJV)
15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all males that open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’
